Description

Washable cotton Scottish thistle and tartan face mask, made with 3 layers of printed cotton (outside fabric) and polycotton (2 inner layers) and elastic earloops. Handmade with care in our home-based studio in Edinburgh.

Each layer is soft to the touch and breathable.
Each masks is includes a metallic nose bridge wire to ensure a close fit on your nose.

They are made following the French organisation AFNOR guidelines , which has the most comprehensive and detailed ones that I came across.
But please, note that these masks were not tested and are not medical grade masks. They are only intended for general use (grocery shopping, etc.)
Make sure to wear the mask correctly, covering nose, mouth, and chin and do not touch it once in place.
They are not to be worn longer than 4 hours.

Measurements
One size that should fits most adult faces.
If the elastic is not quite tight enough for you, you can make a small knot to adjust it.

Materials
100% coton thistle and tartan print fabric, 150g/m2 (1 layer)
Polycotton : 50% Polyester 50% Cotton Sheeting, 125g/m2 (2 layers)
Elastic band

Care instructions 
Wash before first use.
It is advised by AFNOR that face masks should be washed after each use at 60°C, and dried shortly after (preferably air dried with a hairdryer or gentle tumble dried).
The masks can, in addition be ironed at high temperature (but keep the elastic earloops away from the heat).

I aim to process orders as soon as possible. Delay can vary from 1-4 business days.
I offer both standard service (First class for the UK, and International standard service for the rest of the world) with no tracking included, and more expensive service (“tracked and signed”), including a tracking number. Please, make sure to choose the appropriate service when ordering.
